Horizontal property (condominium)

Horizontal property is a special form of property law consisting in the possibility of several units that make up a building belonging to different owners, as long as they can constitute independent units, perfectly distinct and isolated from each other, with their own exit to the public road or to a common part of the building and from there to the public road.

It can be constituted by means of will, amicable division, division of common property or, more often, via a unilateral legal transaction made by the owner of the building.
