Distribution of the decedent’s estate

The distribution of the estate corresponds to the passing of the decedent’s property. As a rule, the estate is distributed out-of-court by means of a public deed.

Through this distribution of the estate, heirs agree to achieve their share of the inheritance by receiving certain specific assets, avoiding the inconvenience of joint ownership of assets. If the event of divergences, the parties compensate them to ensure each receives the amount due.
