Vehicle Register

At the João Maia Rodrigues and Diovana Barbieri Notary Office you can register your car in your name quickly and easily, without waiting.

If you purchased your vehicle from a professional or private individual, all you need is the vehicle registration application form signed by the seller and the buyer, the unique vehicle document or the vehicle registration card and ownership registration. The Vehicle Registration Application can be filled out at the Notary Office.

It is also possible to request an online registration certificate, which provides access to fully up-to-date information contained in the vehicle register.

  • Change of name or firm
  • Change of address or registered office
  • Registration and cancellation of financial lease
  • Ownership registration, if you have purchased your vehicle
  • Initial registration of ownership after legalization of vehicle
  • Registration and cancellation of reservation of property, if you purchased your car by means of a loan
  • New copy of the unique vehicle identification document, due to destruction or loss
