The entitlement of heirs corresponds to the declaration, made by means of a public deed, by three persons (or by the head of household), who the notary considers to credibly qualify as heirs of the decedent and that there are no other persons who are also heirs or who will precede them in the succession.
If the entire inheritance corresponds to legacies, the entitlement of legatees takes place instead.
