Justification

Justification is an exceptional measure that allows interested parties, who do not have the titles that prove their right exists, to enter an initial registration, establish or re-establish the succession in title at the register.

The deed can be used as title for the purposes of the land, company or vehicle register.

The João Maia Rodrigues and Diovana Barbieri Notary Office carefully analyses the reasons given by the interested parties that make it impossible for them to prove, by normal out-of-court means, the facts they wish to justify (cf. Art. 95 of the Notary Code).
