Spousal consent and confirmation

Spousal consent must occur before or at the time same time that an act is performed and is subject to the same form as a power of attorney and it must detail each specific act.

Confirmation is an unilateral act, performed after a transaction, to cure it from being voidable due to lack of consent. As a rule, it does not require a specific form, unless it relates to property whose disposal requires a determined legal form, in which case it must comply with that legal requirement.
